Hibernating
January 5, 2014 Here we are, getting ready for El Freezo, not to be confused with El Blizzardo. We are keeping the store closed on Tuesday as well as Monday, which is our regular day to be closed--along with Sunday. So, 2 and a half glorious days of staying home & not going anyway. Staying in my jammies. Plan on finishing the massive clean up of my craft room. What a disaster after Christmas!!! Also have an over-cluttered shelf in the hallway closet that needs culling. Took down most of the Christmas decorations yesterday. Are they totally put away?? No, but they are close to it.

Ordered some very humorous & some profound sentiment stamps from Riley & Company. Looks like they will be ready for pick up tomorrow. Sheri H was at the store today & showed me a demo using metallic duct tape (duck tape) with embossing folders. I put my tape on a piece of cardstock & ran it thru the Cuttlebug. Sharp. I ran another piece on a different folder then cut it out with a Spellbinder die. You will want to try this. Fun, quick, & EASY. Can I put pictures on this blog???? I think I can. Hold on a minute. Here they are. Another suggestion was to emboss white duct tape with a snowflake folder or cutting it out with a snowflake die. I'm sure we have just scratched the surface of possibilities. You know, that's what we have to do.....do something. Start playing. You won 't learn or grow by browsing Pinterest all night. Report to your craft room----NOW!!!
